NASDSE is governed by an eight-member, elected board of directors, consisting of the President, President-Elect, Secretary-Treasurer, Past President and four members-at-large. Board members are elected at the annual conference and business meeting.
The Board provides guidance and direction on NASDSE activities in accordance with policy decisions made by the membership at the annual conference and business meeting. With member input, the Board develops position statements on issues of national significance.
Since its inception, NASDSE has been at the forefront of debate and policy development concerning the education of individuals with disabilities.
